Established in 1920, Sapporo Commercial High School was the very first commercial school in Sapporo, becoming coeducational in 1986. Since its inception, our goal has been to provide students with a specialized and technical education, while at the same time encouraging the development of maturity, good will, good health and a strong desire to contribute to society. We hope to prepare our students to deal effectively with any challenges they might encounter in their lives.
Our educational policy is based on the principles of honesty, friendship and industry. In our students we encourage the spirit of fair play and the development of a solid grounding in human relations based on training both studentsL minds and bodies through athletic activities. Studnets are also encouraged to be open-minded and to develop self-discipline. Our school uniform, which consists of a blue suit, white shirt and blue tie, has become a source of pride to members of the school community.
